Byt-Byt Self-catering Accommodation in Stilbaai

Comfortable, spacious and stylish self-catering holiday, weekend or overnight accommodation for 6 to 8 persons. Byt-Byt Self-catering is situated near the western blue flag beach in the harbour area in the popular coastal town of Stilbaai. Also in close proximity of the skate park, the golf course, the police station, hiking routes, the Goukou River mouth and the Stilbaai Harbour.

As you travel along Seemeeu Crescent, look for a double garage with large whitewashed doors and a clearly visible number 11 above them. The house sits on a huge fenced stand, surrounded by an equally large garden with lots of grass and shade trees. Here children and pets can safely play to their hearts’ delight. The house also sports a large undercover veranda/stoep along two sides, ideal for a sundowner and an outdoor braai.

Large windows allow for lots of natural light into the spacious, comfortable and elegantly decorated home. Good news for the musically inclined – there is even a piano to enjoy!

Accommodation 

Byt-Byt consists of two independent self-catering units, namely Byt-Byt 1 (sleeping 6 persons) and Byt-Byt 2 (sleeping 2 persons). You can book these units individually, or as a whole, of course.

Free fibre internet access is available in both units as well as a smart TV offering access to Showmax, Netflix and YouTube.

Furthermore there is a washing line in the backyard for those wet beach towels and swimwear.

Byt-Byt 1 – Sleeps 6 (House)

This unit consists of the spacious main house built on two levels offering three bedrooms, each sleeping 2 persons. Ideal holiday accommodation for families with children.

Ground level

The large main bedroom has a queen size bed, dressing table and huge built-in cupboards, along with a glass sliding door to the side veranda. Open the two doors in the middle of the cupboard to enter the en suite bathroom, sporting a bath, shower, basin as well as a toilet.

One of the other rooms has a double bed, while the other has two single beds. Each room also comes with a built-in cupboard and a dressing table. These two rooms share a spacious bathroom with a shower, basin as well as a washing machine. The toilet is in a separate room adjacent to the bathroom.

Furthermore the ground level offers an open-plan dining/kitchen area divided by a breakfast counter. In the dining area is a beautiful table with chairs, a sideboard, a couch as well as a piano, and behind a door is a handy storage room.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with items such as a large fridge and a chest freezer, along with a dishwasher. Also a microwave, gas stove with oven and whistle kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, as well as pots and pans. The scullery is cleverly hidden around a corner next to the back door.

Top level

The top level is one very large living area equipped with a built-in braai, along with a small kitchen cabinet sporting a basin. It is stylishly furnished with a dining table and chairs, couches, comfortable chairs, as well as a smart TV offering Netflix, Showmax and YouTube.

A number of puzzles are also available to while away time when then weather is bad. Huge windows fronting towards the sea offer a small glimpse of the ocean.

To round it all off, a toilet sits conveniently, but discretely hidden in a corner of this vast room.

Byt-Byt 2 – Sleeps 1-2 (Bachelor’s Flat)

In the form of a bachelor’s flat, this is a perfect spot for an overnight, weekend, as well as longer stay for a single person or a couple. It consists of an open-plan bedroom/kitchenette, along with a bathroom hiding behind a sliding door, coming with a shower, basin and toilet.

The bedroom area offers two single beds with reading lamps, a cupboard, a small table with chairs, as well as a smart TV. Also a tall mirror mounted on the wall and extra linen in a container under the bed.

The kitchenette is equipped for self-catering with items such as a two plate gas burner, along with a microwave oven. Also a fridge-freezer combo, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and some cooking utensils.

Byt-Byt 2 has its own private entrance and porch.

Byt-Byt Selfsorg Akkommodasie in Stilbaai

Gemaklike, ruim en stylvolle selfsorg vakansie-, naweek- of oornagverblyf vir 6 tot 8 persone. Byt-Byt is naby die westelike blouvlagstrand in die hawegebied in die só gewilde kusdorpie, Stilbaai. Ook naby die skaatspark, gholfbaan, Polisiestasie, staproetes, die Goukouriviermond, die Stilbaai Hawe, en so meer.

As jy so met Seemeeusingel afry, kyk vir ‘n dubbel motorhuis met groot witgeverfde deure en ‘n duidelike 11 bokant hulle. Die huis sit op ‘n groot omheinde erf, met ‘n ewe groot tuin met baie gras en ou skadubome. Hier kan kinders en troeteldiere so te lekker veilig na hartlus baljaar. Langs twee kante van die huis is ‘n lekker groot stoep, ideaal vir ontspanne kuier met so ‘n paar tjoppies op die vuur.

Akkommodasie

Byt-Byt bestaan uit twee onafhanklike selfsorg-eenhede, naamlik Byt-Byt 1 (6 slapers) en Byt-Byt 2 (2 slapers). Die twee eenhede kan as geheel geboek word, so ook op hulle eie.

Gratis vesel Internettoegang is beskikbaar in albei die eenhede, so ook ‘n slim TV met toegang tot Showmax, Netflix en YouTube.

Agter die huis is ‘n wasgoeddraad vir daardie nat handdoeke en swemklere.

Byt-Byt 1 – Slaap 6 (Huis)

Hierdie eenheid bestaan uit die ruim hoofhuis, gedeeltelik gebou op twee vlakke, en bied drie slaapkamers met slaapplek vir 2 persone elk. So, ‘n ideale vakansieverblyf vir gesinne met kinders.

Grondvlak

Die ruim hoofslaapvertrek het ‘n koningingrootte bed, spieëlkas, groot ingeboude kaste en ‘n glasskuifdeur na die systoep. Die middelste twee kasdeure is eintlik die ingang na die en suite badkamer met ‘n bad, stort, wasbak en so ook ‘n toilet.

Een van die ander kamers het ‘n dubbelbed, en die ander een het twee enkelbeddens. Albei kamers kom met ‘n ingeboude kas en ‘n spieëlkas. Hierdie twee kamers deel ‘n ruim badkamer met ‘n stort, wasbak, en so ook ‘n wasmasjien, en die toilet is in ‘n aparte vertrekkie langs die badkamer.

Verder bied die grondvlak ‘n oopplan eetkamer/kombuisgedeelte wat van mekaar geskei word d.m.v. ‘n ontbyttoonbank met kroegstoele. In die eetgedeelte is ‘n pragtige tafel met stoele, ‘n buffet, rusbankie en ‘n klavier, en agter ‘n deur is so ‘n lekker handige stoorplek/spens.

Die kombuis is volledig toegerus vir selfsorg met items soos ‘n groot yskas, ‘n boksvrieskas en ‘n skottelgoedwasser. Ook ‘n mikrogolfoond, gasstoof met oond, fluitjieketel, broodrooster, messegoed, breekgoed, kookware, en so meer. Slim weggesteek so om ‘n draaitjie by die agterdeur, is die opwasplek.

Boonste vlak

Die boonste vlak is een baie groot leefvertrek, toegerus met ‘n ingeboude braaiplek en ‘n klein kombuiskassie met ‘n was-/afspoelbakkie. Dit is stylvol gemeubileer met ‘n eettafel en stoele, rusbank, gemakstoele, en so ook ‘n slim TV met toegang tot Netflix, Showmax en YouTube.

Verder is daar so ‘n klompie legkaarte om gaste besig te hou wanneer die weer sleg is. Aan die seekant is groot vensters vanwaar so ‘n piepklein flentertjie van die see gesien kan word.

Om alles af te rond sit daar ‘n toilet met handwasbakkie, gerieflik, maar diskreet weggesteek, in ‘n hoekie van hierdie ruim vertrek.

Byt-Byt 2 – Slaap 1-2 (Eenmanswoonstel)

In die vorm van ‘n eenmanswoonstel, is hierdie ‘n perfekte oornag-, naweek-, so ook langer blyplek vir ‘n enkel persoon of paartjie. Dit bestaan uit ‘n oopplan slaapvertrek/kombuisie, tesame met ‘n badkamer met ‘n stort, wasbak en toilet weggesteek agter ‘n glydeur.

In die slaapgedeelte is twee enkelbeddens, ‘n kas, tafeltjie met stoele, slim TV (YouTube, Showmax, Netflix) en so ‘n lang spieël teen die muur. Ekstra linne is in ‘n houer onder die bed.

Die kombuisie is toegerus vir selfsorg met items soos ‘n tweeplaat gasstofie en keteltjie. So ook ‘n yskas-vrieskaskombinasie, mikrogolfoond, breekgoed, messegoed en ‘n paar kookware.

Byt-Byt 2 het sy eie privaatingang en ook ‘n onderdak stoep.
