Your hosts, Deon and Mize’, welcome you to the quaint village of Calitzdorp in the Little Karoo of South Africa. Calitzdorp is situated on the famous scenic Route 62, only 4,5 hrs drive from Cape Town or 1,5hrs drive from George. Calitzdorp is world renown for its Port Wines. Situated on a little hill, only 900m from town, you will find Casa “Liefling”, meaning darling house.

We offer budget overnight self catering accommodation in our three Karoo style rooms. Each of our rooms sleeps two people and have their own verandahs looking into our olive garden.

offers budget self catering accommodation in three traditional Karoo style cottages, situated in the quaint town of Calitzdorp, in the Little Karoo of South Africa.

Each of our cottages sleeps two people and have their own verandahs looking into our olive garden. All our rooms are air-
conditioned have fans and heaters for the chilly winters, a bar fridge, microwave, tea & coffee and basic crockery.

We have an outdoor, undercover entertainment area nestled amongst our olive trees that has a built in Braai, genuine wood burning pizza oven and a gas stove, all added for your convenience. In season meals are available on request, which will be prepared by Mize’, who is an excellent Portuguese Chef.

You are welcome to use our plunge pool to cool down during the hot summer days.You will also be provided with a key for the main gate,so that you may come and go as you please…
