Chillin’Out (Chillinout, Self Catering)

We are nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua mountains and are a couple of hundred metres from the Knysna State Forest (home to elephants, wild cats including leopard and a lot more flora and fauna).

We are 25 kms from Sedgefield and halfway between George and Knysna. For sightseeing and activities, the entire stretch between Mosselbay and Plettenburg bay is in easy travelling distance for day trips.

The apartment is a spacious (100sqm) flat situated on top of the barn. It has the best view in the entire suburb of the forest and mountains. The sunrise and star gazing is unbeatable from the deck which has patio furniture to seat 6.

There are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom (shower only), a reading nook and open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge.

The main bedroom has a queen bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, but a third bed can be installed if necessary. A cupboard is also available.

All facilities required for self catering are available in the kitchen. Also provided are towels, linen, electric blankets and a braai.

We are a self-sufficient farm with just enough livestock to provide for our needs. As a result, we can afford the time to spoil our animals so they are extremely tame and used to human interaction.

We have sheep, a couple of cows (and the occasional calf) and chickens. Included in our menagerie are 2 donkeys (Bella and Eeyore) that are the sweetest girls and enjoy being fed apples and carrots.
