This Restaurant is popular for preparing the best seafood in Still Bay and Jongensfontein. Bekend as die beste seekosrestourant in Stilbaai. Die Lapskuit sits on the western banks of the Goukou River next to the Amphitheatre and very near to the river mouth. Right there in front of Die Lapskuit is a wonderful launching point for most water sports. The view from this restaurant is beautiful.

Die Lapskuit Food

They specialise in seafood, and, because their menu is not massive, the food is prepared brilliantly. The menu is, of course limited to fish and seafood, the only exception being chicken Schnitzel. So, bring the family and friends and enjoy their fresh fish and chips, prawns, calamari and chicken Schnitzel. This seafood restaurant is licensed, so choose a lovely wine to go with the delicious meal of your choice.

They serve their fish (hake, cob, gurnard and sole), calamari, scampi (deep fried prawn) and prawn either deep fried or pan-fried. Accompanied by a Greek salad and chips or baked potatoes or rice. Gluten-free calamari and fish can also be served. Remember if you want the best fish and chips in town ,this is the place.

Drinks on Offer

On the side of the drinks, they offer the normal hot drinks such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Also soft drinks like Coke, Fanta, Cream Soda, Stoney and Appletiser, ginger ale, ice tea as well as fruit juice and bottled water. And of course cordials such as passion fruit, kola tonic and lime.

Die Lapskuit spesialiseer in die voorbereiding van seekos, en, omdat hulle spyskaart nie lywig is nie, word die kos briljant voorberei. Behalwe vir hoenderschnitzel, is die spyskaart beperk tot seekos. Hulle is gelisensieerd, dus kan jy ook jou keuse wyn by die maaltyd geniet.
