Self-catering holiday accommodation, wedding facility and function facility just outside of Still Bay. On the western banks of the Goukou River in Hessequa, Western Cape along the Garden Route.

Kleinbergskloof Olive Estate is a working olive farm offering a variety of olive products as well as their own blends of olive oil. The estate is about 2 km from the centre of Still Bay. The cottage was built in the 19th century and was elegantly restored into a lovely, peaceful place to stay. From the patio you can enjoy the vast view over the wide green lawns and watch the lagoon responding to the ebb and flood of the sea-tides.

The Wedding and Function Facility as well as Tasting Room was built in 2014. It is worth visiting their Deli and seasonal family Restaurant too.

It is important to make special arrangements for your check-in and check-out over weekends as well as public holidays.

This comfortable self-catering cottage can sleep a maximum of 6 guests and the minimum stay is 2 nights.

There are three bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with shower only. Both of these rooms have double beds. The third bedroom has twin beds (¾ beds) and shares a bathroom (bath only) with the second bedroom. Linen as well as other bedding and towels are provided.

Furthermore there is a lounge with comfortable furniture as well as a TV with selected DStv channels. Also and indoor braai/fireplace – the answer to those cold, and often wet winter evenings. There is also a dining room furnished with a 10 seater dining table. Of course on a farm you can expect a good old stoep/veranda with glorious views over the garden and the river.

In addition the cottage comes with a kitchen which is fully equipped for self-catering with appliances such as a fridge/freezer and a microwave. Also a 4 plate stove with oven, kettle and toaster. Likewise laundry facilities such as a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Activities and Attractions in Still Bay and Surrounds

A wide variety of Water Sports for the water sport enthusiasts such as swimming, paddling, surfing and water skiing.
Nature lovers can enjoy bird-watching, hiking, mountain biking, game drives in the area, as well as whale watching in the winter.
For the curious there are various places to visit such as the ancient fish traps and the shell middens of the ancient people. Also the Blombos Museum of Archaeology, the indigenous garden ‘Tuin op die Brak’ as well as the feeding of the eels. Visit the cheese-producing farm, Kasselshoop or also the local gin distillery for a taste of their gin.
Still Bay also boasts a lovely golf course, bowling green, tennis courts, squash courts as well as jukskei and chess.

Hierdie gerieflike selfsorg kothuis kan 6 mense huisves en die minimum verblyf is 2 nagte.

Daar is 3 slaapkamers waarvan een ‘n en-suite badkamer het met slegs ‘n stort. Twee kamers het dubbelbeddens en die derde het twee ¾ beddens. Twee kamers deel ‘n badkamer met slegs ‘n bad. Linne en so ook handdoeke word verskaf.

Verder is daar ‘n sitkamer met ‘n TV en so ook ‘n binneshuise braai. Die eetkamer het ‘n tiensitplek eettafel en dan is daar ook die stoep met ‘n vreedsame uitsig oor die rivier, die groot groen grasperke en die tuin.

So ook is daar ‘n volledig toegeruste kombuis vir selfsorg met implemente soos ‘n yskas/vrieskas, mikrogolf, 4-plaat stoof met oond, ketel en broodrooster. Ook wasgeriewe soos ‘n wasmasjien, tuimeldroër, yster en strykplank.
