Farm Stall, Coffee Shop and Deli on the farm, Klipheuwelplaas near Little Brak River. On the N2 in the Western Cape, South Africa, along the undeniably beautiful Garden Route. With a small coffee bean roastery, gift shop, kiddies play area and bike track. Farmyard atmosphere and tranquillity as well as a scenic view of the mountains. In front of the building are two huge palm-trees planted in 1932 still standing sentinel.

Farm Stall, Deli and Gift Shop at Klipheuwel Padstal / Farm Stall

The Klipheuwel Deli is a delight to visit. Every Friday they have fresh milk tarts, ciabattas and home-made pies. They also offer baked products such as jam rolls, small pastries, cupcakes, biscuits and rusks as well as cakes, chicken pies and bread. All products are of course locally produced. Also on offer are other hand-made products such as jams, pickles, sauces and olive oil.

Furthermore the Klipheuwel Farm Stall sells a variety of fresh cut-flowers, fruits and vegetables sourced from local farmers around the Mossel Bay area. The reasonably priced vegetables include products such as broccoli, potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes and unions, beetroot, cauliflower and cucumber. Fruit such as lemons, avocado, naartjies, bananas and pineapples. They also sell some fresh herbs as well as wattle wood and fire-lighters for braai purposes.

In the Klipheuwel Gift Shop you can find hand-made arts and crafts from local artists – unique gifts sourced for their customers. These products include pieces of art, paintings and jewellery. They also have tins, old records, and other antiques as well as melted and flattened glass bottles – uniquely creative. These can be used in a number of ways such as for a cheese board, spoon-rest, lemon cutting board or on the bar.

Coffee Shop and Restaurant at Klipheuwel Padstal / Farm Stall

There is a small coffee bean roastery at the coffee shop where you can have some beans roasted to take home. For this they use coffee beans from the 1910 Coffee Company in George.

At the Klipheuwel Coffee Shop/Restaurant they serve breakfast until 12:00 with their famous freshly baked vetkoek on the menu. They have waiters, ready and trained to serve you. Furthermore they serve light lunches from 12:00 to 16:00 with dishes such as roosterkoek, burgers, chips and salads. Also snack platters, sandwiches and of course their special filtered coffee.

For the thirsty they offer home-made ginger beer as well as a selection and soft drinks, cold as well as hot drinks. They are licensed to offer you a selection of beers and wine from the Boplaas wine cellar.

Klipheuwel Padstal op Klipheuwelplaas naby Klein Brakrivier

Plaas-padstal, Koffiewinkel, Deli en geskenkewinkel op ‘n plaas naby Klein Brakrivier langs die Tuinroete. Hulle het ‘n klein koffieboonroostery waar jy ‘n paar bone vir jou kan laat rooster om huis toe te neem.

Daar is sitplek binne en buite en speelplek vir kinders met swaaie en ‘n klimraam met ‘n glyplank. Daar is ook ‘n fietsrybaan vir groot en klein – bring net jou eie fiets en valhelm. So ook ‘n haarsalon en ‘n Eiendomsagentskap.

Hulle bied ontbyt en ligte middagetes met hulle lekker vetkoek en roosterkoek aan met gemmerbier en ander koue en warm drankies. Hulle is gelisensieer om bier en so ook wyne uit die Boplaaskelder te bedien.

Verder verkoop hulle tuisgebakte brood, koeke, terte, pasteie en beskuit, en so ook konfyte, olyfolie en souse. Ook heerlike vars groente en vrugte wat plaaslik geproduseer word deur boere in die Mosselbaai-omgewing. So ook geskenke, handgemaakte goed en skilderye van plaaslike kunstenaars.

Hulle bied ook funksies aan soos kombuistee’s en ooievaarspartytjies – ook buite gewone ure. So ook bied hulle aandfunksies in Padstal aan (tot 80 gaste) asook in Boplaas teen ‘n ekstra koste.
