Bed and Breakfast, B & B, Guest House, Free Wifi. There are many guesthouses, B&B’s and accommodation providers in Knysna, but this Knysna guesthouse is one of the few that is Tourism Grading council recognised, as well as being AA Highly Recommended.

Built in 1896, the guest house was the original home of the mayor of Knysna and was converted into a B&B in the 1980’s. It is a unique Bed and Breakfast that combines the charm of times gone by with modern amenities.

A full English breakfast is served from daily 7 – 9. Weather permitting you may enjoy this on the deck, or in our cosy dining room.

The deck offers guests stunning views of the Knysna Lagoon and Knysna Heads, and is a quiet place to end the day after finishing one of the many day trips around Knysna or The Garden Route. These include the hauntingly beautiful Tsitsikama National Park, Wilderness, Oudtshoorn, George and Plettenberg Bay.

Accommodation at Knysna Manor House

Each room at this historical bed and breakfast has furnished with love and care. We have various room types ranging from single rooms to room that can accommodate four. Each room has a private bathroom. Flat screen TV’s with select DSTV channels are standard in each room, as well as tea/coffee making facilities. The majority of rooms have an additional small fridge.

Patrons can make use of the “Free WiFi” in public areas and some rooms. Internet access (due to the age of the building and the thickness of the walls), it is not available throughout the guesthouse.
