The house is uncluttered and decorated beautifully and stylishly in subtle colours, creating a calm, yet warmly inviting ambience. It is close to grocery stores, bottle stores and clothing stores, as well as hair dressers, restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops. The cottage is also within short distance from medical assistance such as doctors, pharmacies, dentists, and the like.

Stilbaai, a burgeoning coastal town, is an extremely popular holiday destination due to its safe, clean beaches and the river estuary. The town spreads out on both sides of the Goukou River in the Hessequa area in the equally popular Western Cape Garden Route.

The entire house is fitted with tile flooring, decorated by several well-placed carpets of varying sizes.

Sleeping quarters

Two bedrooms, each sleeping 2 adults, occupy the rear section of the house.

The really spacious main bedroom offers a king size bed with reading lamps, built-in cupboards, a large mirror, hair dryer, and a comfortable chair. It sports a full en suite bathroom with a bath, basin and toilet, along with a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds, reading lamps, a dressing table, hair dryer and also a built-in cupboard. Its en suite bathroom, though, has a toilet, basin and walk-in shower only.

Living and kitchen space

The front section of the cottage consists of an open-plan living/dining/kitchen/braai area. Along the front wall of this area large glass sliding doors open onto the deck, also furnished with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. A gas braai is available should guests prefer to rather make use of it.

The living area is fitted out with extremely comfortable lounge furniture, a coffee table, as well as a large wall mounted TV. In a corner, unobtrusively, is a desk and chair for your convenience.

In the dining area is a table with four chairs and opposite from these is the indoor braai (which can also serve as a fireplace in winter).

The self-catering kitchen comes fully equipped with items such as a microwave, fridge-freezer, hob and oven, as well as a dishwasher. Also a reverse osmosis freshwater filtering system, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and glassware, along with pots, pans and other cooking utensils. Die lekker ruim hoofkamer het ‘n koningsgrootte bed met leeslampies, so ook ingeboude kaste, ‘n groot spieël, haardroër en ‘n gemakstoel. Dit het ‘n en suite badkamer met ‘n bad, wasbak, toilet en instapstort.

Verder het die tweede kamer twee enkelbeddens, ook leeslampies, ‘n haardroër en ‘n ingeboude kas. Hierdie en suite badkamer het egter slegs ‘n toilet, wasbak en inloopstort.

Leef- en kookruimte

Die voorste gedeelte is so ‘n oopplan leef-/eet-/kombuisarea met groot glasskuifdeure aan die voorkant wat op die dek oopmaak. Hier is nog ‘n tafel en stoele, so ook ‘n sonsambreel en ‘n gasbraaier.

In die leefruimte is daar uiters gemaklike sitkamermeubels, ‘n koffietafel, groot TV en so in een hoekie, ‘n lessenaar en stoel vir die gerief van gaste.

Verder is daar ‘n tafel en stoele in die eetgedeelte en oorkant dit is ‘n ingeboude braaiplek wat ook as kaggel kan dien op so ‘n nat, koue wintersaand.
