We boast a variety of accommodation from luxury Ocean View Lodges nestled 230m above the rugged Tsitsikamma coastline. All with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.  Lake Side Luxury Tented Lodges overlooking our tranquil dam with ocean views in the background.In addition our Rustic Farm Cottages with views of open green pastures and the distant Tsitsikamma Mountains

Our Rustic Farm Cottages at the Misty Mountain reserve will transport you back to an earlier more relaxed era. The shabby chic décor creates a nostalgic atmosphere with time- worn, distressed furniture and soft pastel furnishings.

Our cottages were the first buildings to be built at Misty, originally the labour cottages.  These were restored to our now three star Rustic Farm Cottages offering beautiful views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains and open green pastures. Blue Lily, Fynbos, Vygie and Daisy Cottages are semi –detached, each sleep four, two bedrooms (main bedroom queen bed, second bedroom two single beds), bathroom with shower (no bath), cosy open plan lounge and kitchenette. Screeded cement floors. Undercover outside braai and seating area. Boma, for evenings around the bonfire.

Our Aloe Cottage is free standing at the opposite end of the mashie golf course, perfect comfortable family accommodation for longer stays.Tiled floors. Sleeps four, two bedrooms (main bedroom king bed, second bedroom two single beds), bathroom with bath/shower, cosy open plan lounge and kitchen, dining area with inside braai. Front seating area overlooking the mashie golf course. This cottage is situated closer to the main lodge.

Percale linen, bath towels and bathroom amenities, tea and coffee station are included with your stay. The cottages are serviced daily.

Should you wish to dine in, please advise reception, we welcome you to enjoy our delicious ala carte menu and comprehensive wine list. Our friendly staff can pre book activities, braai and picnic baskets for your convenience. ….

Adventure for those who venture out

Those wanting a little more adventure will be happy to know that the reserve offers many exciting on site activities at Tsitsikamma Adventure Land, from adventurous Quad Bike Tours, guided David Lane Hiking Trail, forest walks, Footgolf – “The new way to play”, 9 Hole mashie chip and wedge golf, four mountain bike routes ranging from 8.7km to 65km with varying terrain and degrees of difficulty to fresh water fishing (Black Bass and Kurper). The reserve is also surrounded by many wild animal sanctuaries and adventurous activities including canopy tours, bungy jumping, ziplining, Segway, Tsitsikamma National Park and much more, all ready for your choosing.
