Self-catering and also day visitors – this magical 100 hectare mountain farm is overall guaranteed to take away all those inner city blues and delight the whole family. From young as well as old. Step out of your door and into a beautiful world of mountains, birds and also horses. With fabulous carriage drives, riding, hiking as well as mountain bike trails on the farm and in the area.

It is home in fact to the biggest horses in South Africa. We have twenty horses, sixteen of those are of course Heavy Draft Percheron Horses. They were by and large the working horses of choice here in South Africa before the Trucks and Tractors came out. They pulled our loads as well as ploughed our fields.

Outeniqua Moon Percheron Stud and Guest Farm – SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION

(accredited by the Guest House Guild on the Garden Route) rated as Comfort Luxury, which is of course the equivalent of 4 stars.

The farm-style colonial self catering accommodation is spacious, serene and also beautiful so even if you don’t leave your room you will have a holiday.

All the suites have separate entrances as well as private verandas. The living areas in all the suites include the lounge with a flat screen TV and DVD player as well as a dining area.

King-size and single beds are available in all the bedrooms and likewise a four poster queen bed in the Honeymoon Suite.

The bathrooms all have showers as well as giant Victorian Slipper Baths.

The kitchens are equipped with ovens with two plate hobs, microwaves as well as fridges, kettles, toasters and all the necessary kitchen utensils.

Each suite has a braai (barbecue) area and braai grids as well as wood are supplied. We are of course child friendly with cots and high chairs available for babies.

Although we are a Self Catering Only accommodation, we do provide a breakfast and a dinner menu which is available of course by prior arrangement with your host at reception.

We also offer free Wi-Fi inernet and braai wood. For an extra fee we also offer a laundry service, baby-sitters as well as cleaning of self-catering rooms.

Parking is Free for the duration of your stay.

THE BLUE SUITE (Sleeps 2)

The Blue Suite is a self catering unit with an open plan kitchenette and living area. The bedroom contains a double bed which can be altered to make 2 single beds. The private bathroom has a Victorian style bath, toilet, wash basin and stand alone shower. The Blue Suite has it’s own outdoor covered patio with table and chairs. The Blue suite Sleeps 2 adults only, however you may request an extra bed for a child at R 250 per day).

THE HONEYMOON SUITE (Sleeps 2)

The Honeymoon Suite is a charming first floor self catering unit. The main bedroom contains a queen size four poster bed. The private bathroom has a Victorian style bath, toilet, wash basin and stand alone shower. The Honeymoon Suite has it’s own outdoor covered patio with table and chairs. The Honeymoon Suite Sleeps 2 adults only, however you may request an extra bed for a child at R 250 per day).

THE COTTAGE (Sleeps 4)

The Cottage is a two bedroom one bathroom spacious self catering unit with an open plan kitchenette, dining table and lounge area.The main bedroom contains a queen size bed while the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. A sleeper couch is also available in the lounge area. The private bathroom has a Victorian style bath, toilet, wash basin and stand alone shower. The Cottage has it’s own outdoor patio with table and chairs.

FAMILY SUITE (Sleeps 5)

The Family Suite is a two bedroom one bathroom spacious self catering unit with an open plan kitchenette, dining table and lounge area.The main bedroom contains a queen size bed while the second bedroom contains 3 single beds (2 of the 3 single beds are bunk beds). A sleeper couch is also available in the lounge area. The private bathroom has a Victorian style bath, toilet, wash basin and stand alone shower. The Family Suite has it’s own outdoor patio with table and chairs.
