Postcards from Knysna (Book)

Inspiring photography by locals of Knysna. There is an old saying which declares ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’. As clichéd as it may sound, it certainly rings true when you leaf through the recently published book Postcards from Knysna. The images speak volumes about the allure of this vibrant coastal town.

The Postcards from Knysna concept began as a Facebook page created by Fatti Vuarnier-Blake. She moved to Knysna from Switzerland with her husband in 2013. “I love everything here,” she said. “And I love the odours of the fynbos in the rain. I love my house. And I love all my new friends”. It was this love which motivated the Facebook page, for she realised that it is often difficult to express the love for something, or its beauty, in words alone.
