Fully licensed seafood restaurant, grill pub and bar on the beach in Witsand. At the Breede River estuary in the Western Cape, South Africa. It is only 30 m away from the water with a terrific 280 degree view of the ocean even from the bar. In this casual restaurant you can eat out while watching the whales in the bay between June and October. With the wide deck facing the beach in front of the restaurant, it offers seating inside as well as outside. There is even a rooftop tent on top of the restaurant.

The food is good and reasonably priced and they also have TV facilities to watch Sport. The popular annual Trans Agulhas Race in December also stops right in front of this ideally positioned diner.

This restaurant serves breakfast, light lunches as well as dinner where you can eat à la carte late into the night. Their multi-cuisine array of dishes for everyone is made from only the freshest produce available. All their food is freshly prepared to order, from the matured steaks and cream sauces to fresh line fish obtained from local fishers.

They offer food such as spare ribs, sirloin steak, calamari, hake and other fish. Also pizza, burgers made from real home-made patties, chips, vegetables, salads and much more. This comes with your favourite coffee such as cappuccino, or wine or soft drink of your choice.

Of course, on special days such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Valentine’s Day, they offer a special three course menu. Furthermore they have available a full take-away menu.

Since this restaurant is fully licensed, there is a bar where you can enjoy a drink while admiring the splendid view.
