Welcome to Zauberberg Cottage Knysna, our Guesthouse for Knysna accommodation. It is a self-catering and B&B in the Heart of  the Garden Route. Our cottage sits in a quiet suburb above town – close enough to get there quickly, yet far enough to be removed from the hustle and bustle of Knysna’s lively centre.

Enjoy the view from our sundeck and also our guest lounge onto the Knysna Lagoon. Relax in the sunshine in our indigenous garden and watch the birds or have a swim in our lovely pool. In the evenings cuddle up by the fire side while planning your activities for the next day. There is plenty to explore along the Garden Route.

Zauberberg’s self-catering cottage is in a word ideal if you want to wind down, relax and enjoy a “home away from home” on the coast. All our buildings are traditional Knysna timber cottages with a warm as well as cosy ambience. Our garden is indigenous and spacious, offering you privacy and quiet, as well as lovely views onto the lagoon and the Knysna Heads.

Accommodation at Zauberberg Cottage Knysna

Our beautiful Lemon Tree Cottage offers 2 bedrooms, each with a private entrance as well as en-suite bath with shower. In the upstairs section you will find a large lounge with a fire place, a bar and kitchen counter, dish washer, fridge and also cooking facilities. On the outdoor veranda there is a gas braai (barbecue). This is the place to relax and enjoy the view onto the Knysna Lagoon.

We only rent out one cottage on our property – so you will be able to enjoy real privacy and peace of mind at Zauberberg!
