Schoemanshoek is a fertile farming valley close to the famous Cango Caves. Situated on one of the largest working ostrich farms, it is also ideal for bird-watching, horse-riding, hiking, mountain-biking and swimming.

Hot summer days (more than 300 annually) are spent in the cool waters of one of the sparkling swimming pools.
