Cango Caves Estate Farmhouse (Guest House, Self Catering, Bed and Breakfast can be arranged)

The original farm house on the Grootkraal Farm, 28km outside Oudtshoorn by the world-famous Cango Caves, which was once part of the farm. They painstakingly redid the farm house to today’s standard. Thus come and enjoy a relaxing farm lifestyle weekend or night. In essence we offer a self-catering unit for up to 8 people.

The Self-Catering Farm House offers four en-suite double or twin bedrooms. Each has bedding, towels as well as air-conditioning. Also an equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge area, with TV and full DSTV as well as a swimming pool.

There is also a Kitchen and Braai Area for self-catering. You can arrange for breakfast from our Deli, but must, of course pre-book. They do not provide dinner, but braai-wood, braai packs and also salads can be arranged beforehand at an additional cost. Or else dinner can be enjoyed at any of the restaurants and Guesthouses in the area.

Pre-book and pre-pay to avoid disappointment. In fact you have to produce a valid credit card with check-in.

We do have a Deli on the premises that operates from 09:00 – 16:00 daily. The Deli offers a Breakfast and Lunch Menu as well as Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages for on and off consumption purposes.

The farm also offers a Zip-line Activity which you can enjoy at a discount rate as a patron using our accommodation facilities.
