Inspired by the decadent 18th century French period. La Chocolaterie Rococo defines the ultimate in chocolate indulgence – in short, the very best handcrafted praline.
For many years Marita Lamprecht’s exquisite treats and inspiring flavour combinations of course made La Chocolaterie a “must visit” venue for chocolate-livers in Oudtshoorn. In July 2016, however, new owner Charmain Mouton opened up shop at a brand-new address-79 Long Street, Great Brak River!
Although in new hands and home, the exquisite hand-crafted pralines are as delicious and artful as always. Charmain uses, of course, only Belgian chocolate to make from nutty or smooth pralines to artistic wedding cakes.
For Belgian chocolates made with passion, in short, visit La Chocolaterie Rococo. Each little piece of chocolate, as a matter of fact, contains a flavour adventure you’re not likely to forget. Try their blue cheese, salty and interesting, also their pinotage, amarula and rooibos-caramel. Or rather their Chai Tea milk chocolates. Indulge in their bite size hand-crafted chocolates in six flavours – Amarula, Lemongrass, Poppy, Speculaas, Krokant (Brittle) as well as Jamaican rum.

Elke stukkie sjokolade bevat ‘n smaakavontuur wat jy nie maklik sal vergeet nie. Sjokoladeliefhebbers, probeer die bloukaas of pinotage, of dalk die amarula of rooibos-karamel. Of miskien eerder die Chai-tee melk sjokolade. Bederf jouself met hulle klein sjokoladetjies in ses smake – Amarula, Sitroengras, Poppie, Spekulaas, Krokant sowel as Jamaikaanse rum.
