Self-catering holiday accommodation in Still Bay, popular coastal holiday destination in the Western Cape, South Africa. It consists of 3 luxury apartments which together can sleep 10 people. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the bay and one can actually see the waves breaking on the Lappiesbaai blue flag-beach on the eastern side of the bay.

This self-catering accommodation is within close proximity of one on the blue-flag beaches on the western side of the bay. It is also close to the Goukou River estuary as well as the Still Bay harbour, the Stilbaai Golf Club and tennis courts. In fact, it is within walking distance from the Skulpiesbaai nature reserve and its many hiking trails as well as the ancient Khoi fish traps.

Breakfast is of course available by prior arrangement.

Lieflappie offers 3 individual self-catering units, each with a private entrance, of which two units can be combined as one. (Seester and Bloublasie)

Seester (Sleeps 2)

A small 32 m² flat with one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and also a basin. There is a queen-size bed, wardrobe as well as a dressing table. Furthermore it comes with an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with a TV, small fridge, microwave, kettle as well as a two-plate stove with oven. This unit has a garden view.

NB – Seester can also be rented in combination with Bloublasie, thus providing accommodation for 6 people.

Bloublasie (Sleeps 4)

This apartment is on the ground-floor (with no steps) and comes with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom with a bath as well as a shower. There is a double bed in one bedroom and 2 ¾ beds in the other bedroom, both with wardrobes as well as dressing tables.

Then there is an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with a fireplace with braai facilities and a flat screen TV. The living area leads to a patio with a Weber braai, a table and seating as well as a large washbasin where fishing gear can be cleaned.

Furthermore the self-catering kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, stove with oven, toaster as well as a kettle. Also with cutlery, crockery, glasses, cleaning liquids, and an iron. There is also a laundry room with an automatic washing machine available for use.

NB – Bloublasie can also be rented in combination with Seester, thus providing accommodation for 6 people.

Pampoentjie (Sleeps 4)

This large self-catering apartment is on the upper level. The open-plan living/dining/kitchen area opens onto a balcony with a sea view, a Weber braai as well as garden furniture. There is a fireplace which can be utilised as an indoor braai, comfortable furniture, a table and chairs as well as a TV.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, stove with oven as well as a toaster. Also with a kettle, cutlery, crockery, glasses, cleaning liquids, and an iron. Guests in this apartment also has access to a laundry room with an automatic washing machine to do their laundry.

This apartment has 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table. There is one bathroom with a large shower, a toilet and a basin as well as another separate toilet with a basin.

Activities and Attractions in Still Bay and Surrounds

Blue Flag beaches for swimming and sun bathing, surfing in the breakers, scuba diving, as well as windsurfing and body boarding and more. The Goukou River for canoeing, water skiing, fishing, paddling as well as boating.
Nature lovers can enjoy bird-watching, hiking, mountain biking, game drives in the area, as well as whale watching in the winter.
For the curious there are various places to visit such as the ancient fish traps and the shell middens of the ancient people. Also the Blombos Caves, the indigenous garden ‘Tuin op die Brak’ as well as the feeding of the eels. Visit the cheese-producing farm, Kasselshoop or also the local gin distillery for a taste of their gin.

Op die grondvlak met 2 slaapkamers en een badkamer met ‘n bad en so ook ‘n stort. Oopplan leef/eet/kombuisarea volledig toegerus vir selfsorg en so ook ‘n kaggel wat as binnebraai benut kan word. Daar is ook ‘n Weberbraai buite en so ook ‘n waskamer met ‘n wasmasjien. Die kombuis is toegerus met ‘n skottelgoedwasser.
