We offer our guests the opportunity to kick-back, relax and enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the Little Karoo, situated 350km from Cape Town and 100km from Oudtshoorn. We strive to provide our guests with the opportunity to meet new and old friends, exchange stories, and enjoy the spectacular mountain views.

The Loft

The comfortable loft rooms offers overnight shelter or down to earth good accommodation for nature lovers. Perfect for larger groups, sports teams and school outings at a relatively inexpensive rate. The Loft can accommodate a total of 50 guests where you have the choice of single rooms, double rooms and groups of 4 and 6 persons per room and boasts shared his/hers spacious bathrooms with baths and showers. There are also leisure /reading lounges. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Luxury chalets are situated close to the watering hole, where you can view buck and birds flocking to drink. Our chalets have air conditioning and heating, a small kitchenette with coffee and tea bar and luxury linen. Relax on the veranda and experience the magnificent sunsets over the spectacular gorges and watering holes. 4 double chalets offering 2 en-suite bedrooms (sleeps 4) 4 single chalets offering 1 en-suite bedroom (sleeps 2).

Six bedroomed house, perfect for families and friends wanting to come together and enjoy the spectacular views and spacious house. Our Manor house boasts with its own private swimming pool and barbeque facilities. Fully equipped for self-catering.

Exchange vows amidst splendid natural beauty – on the deck overlooking a watering hole, or in Van Wyks dorp’s little picturesque church while bells clang with joy in the background. Wine & dine in our thatched restaurant, or under the twinkling Karoo night sky, with fires ablaze & soft candles to create that perfect ambiance. Our honeymoon suite provides a romantic hideaway for the privacy, luxury and comfort of the newly weds. We would be pleased to assist with the catering arrangements for your special day.

The Restaurant

Rooiberg Lodge offer a great dining experience in our homely, thatched restaurant. Guests can sample traditional South African cuisine and choose from excellent local wines.

Wine and dine in our homely, thatched restaurant or out on the veranda overlooking the swimming pool and watering holes. Guests can sample traditional South African cuisine, and choose from an excellent selection of locally produced wines and ports from the Calitzdorp, Boplaas , famous for their award-winning collections.

Special dietary requirements are catered for on request.

Relaxing in our fully licensed bar provides guests with the opportunity to meet new and old friends, exchange stories, or simply enjoy the views of the spectacular mountain gorges….
