A division of House of Sarah Lifestyle Centre. Violette consist of a florist selling fresh flowers and arranging bouquets and casket sprays as well as a nursery selling roses. Also bonsai trees and spekboom trees and many other garden plants, flowers, seedlings, indigenous plants, succulents, climbers, and many more. House of Sarah Lifestyle Centre is located opposite the entrance to Palinggat Oord in Main Road West in Still Bay near the turn-off to Jongensfontein.

Sections of House of Sarah Lifestyle Centre

The business has several division housed in different locations on the same premises, of which Violette is one. The florist section of Violette is housed in the first building from the parking space which they share with House of Sarah – Interior Decorators. There is also the Tea Garden or Coffee Shop called Vanilla and in the last building is Rosemary, the décor, Velvet furniture and exclusive ladies clothing shed. Oregon Pizza Shop is under construction (Jan 2020) and should be conducting business soon.

You simply have to visit this diverse business and discover various ways to decorate and personalise your home’s interior as well as exterior.

Violette – Florist in Still Bay

The back part of the first building houses the florist section of Violette where they sell fresh flowers. There is a small cold storage room where the fresh flowers are kept to protect them from waning or degenerating too rapidly. These flowers are not pre-arranged into bouquets.

Spoil your wife, girlfriend, or any special person with fresh flowers while they are still alive and able to enjoy them. Let her enjoy the flowers while she can still see them, touch them, smell them. Violette provides a variety of fresh flowers for various uses such as rosebuds, carnations, chrysanthemums, lilies, proteas, etc. Also filler flowers such as gyp or baby’s breath, fever-few and poms and greens such as the popular leather-leaf fern, tree fern, eucalyptus ‘baby blue’, etc.

Funeral flowers, wreaths, casket sprays, coffin sprays including hiring the vases if you prefer.

Violette – Nursery in Still Bay

Leaving the building through the side door, will bring you into the nursery garden. Take a stroll along the winding walkway through the neat nursery garden while imagining those plants in your own garden. There is something for every garden, big and small; every taste and every pot.

Flowers – a variety of roses, various colourful daisies such as gazania, gerbera (Barberton), aster, zinnia, Marguerites, etc. as well as petunias, violets, verbena, marigolds, calendula, etc. – all the regular seedlings associated with the season.
Succulents – a large variety of succulents for the water-wise garden.
Shrubs and trees such as the versatile viburnum, with showy flowers followed by colourful berries, to name but one. There are many more to choose from.
Indigenous plants – proteas, pincushion, erica, spekboom (Portulacaria Afra) an incredible plant, drought tolerant and a carbon sponge with a unique and strangely captivating beauty.
Climbers such as the beautiful and fragrant jasmine (derived from the Persian ‘yasmin’ meaning a gift from God)
Bonsai trees – a large number of them, miniatures of a variety of trees. Lovingly and carefully pruned and snipped over time to produce these really small imitations of a the full size tree. Come and peruse the large collection and wide variety of young as well as old characterful bonsai trees. Save yourself years of dedicated work and buy a bonsai that has been grown and formed by a bonsai specialist.

Deel van House of Sarah Lifestyle Centre in Stilbaai in Hoofwegwes regoor die Palinggatoord afdraai. Violette bestaan uit twee dele, nl. ‘n bloemiste en ‘n kwekery. Hulle is agterin die eerste gebou en deel die ruimte met House of Sarah – Interior Decorators wat binneversiering doen.

Jy is nou daar, so besoek sommer ook die dekor, Velvet Meubels en eksklusiewe damesklere winkel, Rosemary in die volgende gebou. Drink sommer so oppad uit ‘n heerlike teetjie of koffietjie en eet ‘n stukkie lekker vars koek by Vanilla Teetuin. Oregon, die pizzawinkel is nog onder konstruksie (Jan 2020), maar sal so gou as moontlik sy deure oopmaak.

Die bloemistegedeelte van Violette is in die agterste gedeelte van die eerste gebou op die perseel. Daar hou hulle vars blomme in ‘n koue koelkamer sodat hulle so lank as moontlik kan hou. Hierdie blomme is nie in voorafopgemaakte gemengde bosse nie, so jy het die geleentheid om te kies wat jy in jou bos of ruiker wil hê. Dit maak hulle dan vir jou mooi met sellofaantregter en strik en al.

Vars Blomme vir Ruikers in Stilbaai
