Purpose of SlimJuff – Teaching made Easy

Sanita Welgemoed is a qualified as well as experienced Remedial Therapist with an intense desire to help teachers and learners. From her experience as remedial therapist, she realised that a child without a proper foundation will always have a handicap. She understands the challenges foundation phase (FP) teachers are facing, having learners with different learning abilities as well as really full classrooms. Therefore resources specifically developed for these learners are also available on this Website. Teachers can use these for learner support, intervention as well as didactic help.

Furthermore she realises the value of using teaching aids during lessons for young learners, thus she prepares such resources or teaching aids for you. Some of which can also be used to create an interesting and colourful classroom. Teachers are swamped with administrative duties as well as all kinds of other challenges in the classroom, not leaving much time for them to create any teaching aids themselves.

Resources are of course based on the CAPS (Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements) guidelines. Sanita invites enquiries about any (other) resources you may need. If it is at all possible, they will make them for you. That way you as teacher, can focus on your lessons and thus save a lot of precious time.

Die SlimJuff Webtuiste bied hulpbronne aan onderwysers en ouers van Gr 1 tot Gr 3 leerders. So ook remediërende bronne – hulp vir die besige onderwyser en kwaliteitprodukte vir die leerder. Aangebied deur ‘n gekwalifiseerde en so ook hoogs ervare Remediërende terapeut.

‘n Kind, van wie die grondslag nie goed vasgelê is nie, het vir altyd ‘n agterstand. Vir hierdie doel is die remediërende hulpbronne ontwikkel. So ook het onderwysers hope administratiewe pligte en allerhande ander uitdagings sodat hulle nie tyd het om self sulke hulpmiddels te maak nie.
