Gouritsmond Caravan Park
This well maintained municipal caravan park sits in the really small, quiet coastal town of Gouritsmond, Hessequa area, Western Cape. A perfect hideaway from the world for those in need of reloading extremely flat batteries.
The Gouritsmond Caravan Park offers 100 grassed sites with electricity points, braai facilities as well as clean ablution blocks with hot and cold showers. The caravan park is close to the river mouth...
Gouritz Beach House
The house is in the best possible position being the corner plot overlooking both the mouth of the Gouritz River and the Ocean. From a pathway at the bottom of the garden you can stroll through the dunes directly onto the beach and to the river.
Because Gourtizmond is such a quiet place the wildlife abounds, buck, tortoise, hares and bird life. The birds love to be fed and beware, once you start feeding them they will return and call for food.
Gourits Self Catering
In 1998 the old Gourits Hotel was converted into Self Catering units by Gourits Trust. These units are walking distance from the local shops and about 150 meters from the beach. Gourits Self Catering Units cater for both the international and local markets by offering units of different sizes and prices. Each unit is fully equipped for self-catering and includes its own private braai area. We also have our own onsite Kontrei Winkel (Onsite shop) that includes groceries, hardware, fishing tackle and gifts! The building also has a small court yard with washing lines and sinks for laundry.

Gouritz Valley Weddings & Accommodation
Our story begins with a young girl’s dream of something magical. The tale of two little girls growing up on a farm with a broad imagination. Every so often their mother will send her daughters into the ‘forest’ surrounding the Cape Dutch farm house, telling them to have a picnic and wait for the fairies to join them. They sat there under the wild fig forest waiting for fairies and falling asleep. Before we could ever encounter them, but always believing that they were truly there
