Still Bay NSRI 10km Run
Annually on 31 December the Still Bay NSRI 10km run happens from the Still Bay harbour and is open to all runners, joggers and walkers.
The 10km run starts and finishes at the NSRI building (National Sea Rescue Institute) at the entrance to the Still Bay harbour.
The route is on hiking trails following streams, the lagoon, the beach as well as through dune bush.
Development of the Still Bay NSRI 10km Run
The run started in 2006 as a holiday activity. Locals and holiday makers alike arrange this race.
This delightful run grew from 200 participants in 2006, to about 1100 in 2016. The official finishers for the 2016 race were 1007, up from 904 in 2015.
Since 2008 the proceeds for the event is donated to the NSRI Station 31 in Still Bay, Western Cape.
If you are able to be in Still Bay in December please support Sea Rescue!
NSRI Stilbaai 10km Draf
As jy dalk in Stilbaai is in Desember, ondersteun die Nasionale Seereddingsinstituut asseblief!
